We are always moving forward, always aiming higher, so we don’t look back, but we do like to take a moment to reflect back and reminisce about the amazing things that happened at L2D the last half of 2015! Reflection is always a good thing after all.
The 2015-2016 dance year started long before the first day of classes in September. Yes a summer’s break was not much of a break for our incredible dancers as they were convention-ing, practicing, learning new choreography, intensive class taking and so on. What a summer L2D, you all rocked it! Once classes “really” began we certainly didn’t waste much time especially since our performance dancers had a Christmas Show to prepare for. However, before that we had to celebrate with the premier event of the last installment of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. What a great event that was, both for the fundraising and the movie. Thank you to everyone involved in making this event such a success!
We took time to honor the passing of our sweet Grandma Del and choose to honor her as a studio doing what we do best…dance. And, did they ever at our annual Christmas Show. It was a great show and truly displayed our incredible performance dancers.
We’ve had some amazing choreographers and guest teachers come and teach and we continue to press forward looking anxiously ahead to our annual creAte Hope Charity Show. (More details to come!) Then, it’s onward to competition season. It’s been an amazing ending to an amazing 2015, way to go L2D!
